Shattered - Animated Short - 2015

Shattered is the story of Helios and his son Phaethon. The story follows the sun god Helios who grants his only mortal son one wish, which comes at a cost. Shattered was made as part of a Semester long project at the Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center in Spring of 2015. I had the opportunity to compose the music for this animated short. Since there was no dialogue, I focused my efforts on composing themes and motifs that would communicate for the characters and illuminate the emotional arc of the story.
