I Expect You to Die is a virtual reality (VR) escape-the-room puzzle game that lets you step into the world of an elite secret agent. Survive a series of deadly situations in dangerous locales. Complete each mission using bravery, cunning and a top secret device that gives you the power of telekinesis. ​

 

For IEYTD, among other audio duties, I did much of the voice over editing. IEYTD is spy-themed and as such, we wanted the players to have the experience of having directives coming into their ear. In VR, you have the unique experience of having the game camera strapped onto your head. So we took advantage of that aspect and panned the voice in your head to one side and stuck to your head. The end result feels authentic. Otherwise, I also created and recorded most of the game's sound assets and musical stingers used throughout the game.
